Meet the Team

Kristie DuncanVice President of Operations

Kristie joined IPMG in 2014 and brings 20+ years of claim operation experience in the insurance industry. She began her career as a claim analyst and through her career has worked with both fully insured and self-insured claim operations; the last 10 years in operations management. Kristie holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University and has completed several industry specific course studies to secure both the Associate, Life and Health Claims (ALHC) and Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designations.

Diane MazurCustomer Experience Director

Diane came to IPMG from a privately-owned start-up mobile phlebotomy company, where she led a customer centric start-up of the company. She’s been in the health and services industry for most of her career.  She also has experience as a Customer Service Operations Manager at Vein Clinics of America, Client Services Manager at Northwestern Medicine’s Health Lab and award-winning Benefit Advocate Supervisor at Christian Brothers Services – a nonprofit religious trust. Prior to that, she spent 15 years in the laboratory industry holding various positions in sales, service and management. Diane holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Business Management and English and minoring in sociology.

Cheri MazonIntegrated System Operations Manager
Cheri joined IPMG in 2014, bringing 16 years of experience in all facets operations within the health industry. She began her career as a claims examiner, learning all areas of claims management. After a little over 6 years, she broadened her experience with a billing recovery specialist for a provider entity for workers’ compensation with additional roles including medical coding, group health billing, settlement negotiations and data risk analytics. Since with IPMG, she has become the integrated data specialist identifying health and plan risk through multiple report avenues while streamlining operational systems for automation to organize production and provide compliant procedural guidelines.

Cheri holds an associate degree in Health information Technology from The Ultimate Medical Academy and has completed and holds her federal certification as a registered health information technologist through American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).

Mark FiechterVice President of Development

Mark brings a proven track record of 30 years in the insurance industry, having worked for several Global Insurance organizations in business development, account management and sales management with a focus on Accident & Health, Travel Assistance, Stop Loss and TPA services. In addition to developing and managing sales teams that have continuously delivered outstanding results, he has expertise in P&L management and improvement, team building and leadership, relationship management and product development.

Prior to joining IPMG, Mr. Fiechter most recently held the position of Vice President of Sales for a national TPA, where he was responsible for building the Midwest territory.

Mark Fiechter holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. John’s University as well as insurance licenses in Life, Accident and Health.

Dan GerdingDirector of Business Development

Dan joins IPMG having spent the last seven years as a brokerage manager for a large individual life and disability carrier. His role was primarily to grow brokerage sales and further develop their field representatives’ knowledge base. Before starting his career in the insurance business, Dan graduated from Indiana University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs.

Dan now is an account executive for IPMG’s EBS division, tasked with growing the self-insured program along with ICRMT Employee Benefit Program.

Jack AbbottSenior Sales Executive

Jack has been in the insurance industry since 1983 and specifically with TPAs for 28 years. Prior to working in the insurance industry, Jack taught and coached in Missouri Public Schools for 10 years holding BS and MA degrees.

Jennifer KnaakSupervisor Eligibility and Client Services

Prior to joining IPMG in 2013, Jennifer has had over 15 years of client and customer service in various industries. She has since operated as both Team Lead Eligibility and Supervisor of Eligibility & Client Service until she was promoted to Account Manager where she assists her clients with their day-to-day requests.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, whether it is camping in the woods or taking day trips to Chicago exploring the museums and zoos.

Marcie CurnutteSenior Account Manager
Marcie brings 17 years of client and customer service leadership to the table, including the last 8 with IPMG. Marcie began her career in the hospitality management industry, and later expanded her career into managing the customer service department for a dental TPA management company prior to joining IPMG. Marcie is dedicated to providing outstanding service and leverages her time management and organizational skills to deliver on this aspect at all times.

Outside of work, it’s family and friends and travel that feature on the priority list.

Angela RohrerClaims Manager

Angela has worked in the insurance industry for 25 years.  The first 19 years, she expanded her knowledge as a claims analyst for Individual Major Medical, Fully-Insured Group Health and self-funded business.  She  joined IPMG in January 2016 as the Claim Specialist in the EBS division. Outside of work, her happy place is spending time with her family!
